April 26, 2015 - Teira Brown, 1, wheezes as she sleeps on a moldy mattress in her Cypress Gardens apartment in North Memphis. Brown's 23-year-old mother, Naya, moved the family into the unit three years ago. Brown and her four daughters suffer from breathing problems. "When I'm at home and I wake up, I feel weak, I feel sick all the time, " says Naya Brown. "My kids get sick, like, all the time. It can't be anything, but the mold and other stuff that's in here.
