December 20, 2017 - Nathan Bedford Forrest's Confederate statue is removed from Health Sciences Park on Wednesday night in Memphis, TN. The City of Memphis sold two public parks, containing Confederate statues of Forrest and Jefferson Davis, to Memphis Greenspace, Inc., a nonprofit organization for $1,000 each. (Yalonda M.
